2001 blowby

Hello,

I am thinking about buying a 2001 f350 crew cab auto with 114000 miles. It runs good sounds good and looks good.
I took her out for a test drive got her nice and warm and took the oil cap off while idleing. Out came the blowby. One of my friends suggested to me only to buy a truck with no blowby. Well I test drove about 10 trucks with miles ranging from 110,000 to 300,000 miles on them and all have blowby.
I am thinking he is wrong!!! The 2001 is sweet. In great shape. The Turbo still is mostly grey not gold from heat.
I can set the oil cap on and the blowby doesnt move it.
The blow buy isnt a big cloud.

Will all powerstrokes with high miles have blowby?
Will changing the oil more often prevent blowby from getting worse?
I can only afford a powerstroke with high miles so any help from you diesel experts would be great.

thanks Steve
