Yeah ford had issues with there auto locking hubs. My 99 rangers hubs went out and it was 1200 bucks for ford to replace them and noboby makes aftermarket hubs for them. So I scoured the internet and found that you can pull the hubs apart and pop the spring out and you have working hubs but they are always locked. I didnt care as I had 170 thousand miles on the truck and it was so much cheaper then the alternative.
