I would ask them to define which pump is bad. That way you know. By law they have to give you that information. They should have the capabilities to tell you as well.

As for cleaning the Turbo I know on a 6.0 that seems to be something that needs to be done. But on a 7.3L I am unsure if they are not trying to do it so they can jack the price up some.

As for an Aftermarket pump check with some vendors on here and see. I would ask DPP.
