Exclamation HELP!! 5th Wheel problem!!!

Okay - so we're going to tow our trailer 3 hours tomorrow and I was able to hook it up tonight and get everything ready and I found out that my 2wd truck is a little tooo high!

the butt end of the trailer is about sitting on the ground! I don't want to blow out my rear tires towing because it obviously has two axle's for a reason, but i'm afraid all the weight on the rear will be too much...

what does everyone think? I have just over the proper amount of clearance at the bed rails... can't lower the hitch anymore! Are there ways to correct this (ie. raise the trailer) and how do you do it?

also, if I take it slow and easy, do you think it will be okay to tow the trailer on a short trip for the weekend?
