I'm waiting to see if anyone on this forum has actually installed these on a 2011-2016 truck.

Your video online only shows for an 04-08 F150 and I have concerns about the way the wires are run to the doors.

Has anyone with an 11-16 truck installed these?

The wiring in these are different than the earlier models, that's why we do not advertise them as fitting the earlier model years.

These mirrors would be plug and play, with the exception of adding the power fold feature. If your truck had power fold from the factory and all of the options, they would be plug and play

I have power mirrors from the factory but manual fold.

So my question is, if I DO install these into my truck, will additional wiring be necessary INTO the truck from the doors, or do I not need to install the extra wires without going INTO the truck?

Your video for the F150 requires running wires outside the harness and under the door weatherstripping because of the wiring 'block' that the factory uses.

I personally don't feel comfortable doing that.

Can you guys try getting a 11-16 super duty in with power windows and do a video? Or maybe let one of us buy at a cheaper price and let us do a write up and review? How about anyone thats bought the mirrors before? Did they ever do a review or write up on how they installed/retrofitted?
