I'll give this thread a push. If he does get the Pittsburgh puter make sure he asks the Pitts guy if he should turn the stock puter back to stock. A Pitts box will sometimes create too much fueling on a mod stocker.

I run a pitts box on a 15.8 Cat marine motor in a 379 Pete that's 800 everyday hp after I changed the turbo and got rid of the waste gate. Makes a 550 seem like a 425.

Cat choked the C16 600's turbo down for faster spoolup to meet emmisions. Kinda takes the fun out of trucking.. Not to mention they also killed fuel mileage trying to please the feds..
