2001 7.3 running rough
First, thanks for reading, new here. I have a 2001 7.3 4x4. Truck just turned 100K miles. Last week started up fine and left work, went about 1 mile, service engine soon light came on, engine died and would not restart. Replaced cps, no change, replaced IPR, no change. Had a tech come out, checked with his diagnostic computer and found if I remeber correctly, the injector module, (inside left front inner fender) was bad and replaced, also replaced both of the wiring harnesses under the valve covers. Truck started and ran smooth. The first time on the road the engine light came on and it ran rough for about a minute, cleared up and did fine for 3 days. Next problem for 2 days was starts up, light comes on, runs rough until up to operating temp, then light out and runs fine. Then on the next 2 days, starts up and runs smooth for about 6-7 miles, then light on and running rough. Now it is starting up with the check light on and running rough all the time. I was unable to get anyone to look at it and now with the holiday weekend it will be Tuesday before I can get it to anyone to check out. I was wondering if anyone here has any ideas?
