Ask the expert...ha ha

Hey bono your exhaust will not be loud when if you went with the magnaflow, or most other makers for that matter. It's only noisy, rumbly and loud if you decide to leave out the muffler and come turbo back uninturupted. I know this from experience!! And like I said, it's a great kit, fit perfectly, and still looks great underneath after 5 months of being on. I was just under it this weekend doin some routine inspections. Oh by the way, the kit I got is stainless.
Hey Farmboy- do you mean you hacked out your muffler and your cat and just spliced in a couple of pieces? Or do you mean you had no kit at all? I can say that my buddy removed his cat and muffler on his 04 and it sounded really good. I never heard it with an actual exhaust kit on it because he traded it in for a jeep...what a moron. Anyway when I bought my truck someone had cut the exhaust off about 3 feet after the cat. After a few months I cut the cat off and ran pretty much the stock downpipe with a turndown on it for a while. I heard the turbo a lot, but it was so loud and obnoxious that I had to get a kit for it. Plus I didn't want anymore soot covering the underbody than what was already there. I can still hear the turbo quite a bit thru the magnaflow but not as much. I think I might take my muffler out and see how I like it since it exits behind the tire now, and not right under the passenger side floor! But anyway do yourself a favor and get a real mandrel bent kit....it's worth it. Oh, and don't get no wussy 5 inch tip....stand out with a 6 inch!! ha!
