That is true, all though I have a buddy that uses the fiberglass bed top as his tent. He built a floor that sits on top of his wheel wells that he puts the matteress on. Then underneath that he has draws that pull out. He stores all his hunting or fishing gear in those. Just depends on what season it is. he thought about buying one of them steel drawer kits but ended up building his out of wood.
