CCV=smoke?
Well I've been lurking here for awhile taking in all the info I can on upgrades on my 02 X 7.3. I decided last weekend to install a couple of easy mods, HPX, WW, new upper and lower pedistal o-rings and the CCV. The CCV was an easy enough install, I routed the hose down the inside of the frame rail and terminated it next to the fuel tank. Here's the problem or question, I was following my wife home tonight and saw a noticable amount of smoke coming from the end of the CCV hose. I could not see any exhaust coming from the tail pipe. Is this normal? I am planning in the future to install the exhaust bung once I purchase my new exhaust. If this is normal, maybe I'll push up the purchase a few months and take care of this now. Any ideas?
