Lets just say this will put it in perspective my friend just killed his DMax by going that far he had 30,000 miles on his oil. And yes OAI said it was good for another 10,000 So he kept goin on it 2,000 miles later he spun a bearing. Sent the oil in for analysis to another company the said the oil should have ben changed a long time ago it was way past due. Almost 0 TBN.
Now that being said I have alot of faith in Amsoil but I myself will never more than 15,000 on a change. And will not go more than 15,000 on a change. Also will use an INDEPENDANT lab. not one that is biased

I didn't see where you said your friend was using Amsoil or anything else other than 30,000 miles and a dead duramax, and oil analyzers never tell you you can go for any specified miles, they always recommend sample at next
regular interval. please gives us more specific details on your friends truck and maybe it may seem a little more believable when you make outlandish comments, just to clear things up on my end I will post my oil samples of my truck and my friends truck, so there isnt any confusion, and I disagree with biased oil sampling companies, if that holds any valitidy the company would fold and close it's doors, please understand there is differences in machine testing and varibles that can make anyone dizzy, but to make a asumption of biased lab results is completely un founded and simply a internet opinion and nothing else
