white smoke can be too much fuel also.

I also had algae in my tank which caused these symptoms. Have the garage put a restriction Gage on the fuel line between the tank and the fuel pump. It should not pull any more than 5 pds of restriction. If it does have more than that then there is your problem.R/R and have filter in tank and tank washed out with soap and water. Make sure all are removed then put tank back in. Good Luck
