No prob at all. A 265 (OEM) on a 7" wheel is 10.4" while a 285 on a 7" is 11.2". So less than an inch difference, which is less that a half an inch on each side of the wheel.
I had an '01 with a leveling kit and ran 35X12.5s with very little rubbing. I did have aftermarket wheels though, which have a little less backspacing.
