They don't take the same tool as a fuel line or an a/c line. I ended up making my own tool from a piece of copper tubing. I cut two collets from the copper pipe, and shaved them down small enough to slide into the fitting. Then I used my clutch line disconnect/HPOP line disconnect tool to force them into the fitting. Rock the HPOP line disconnect back and forth, and it will force the copper collets into the fitting and release the spring ring.
