jet a (diesel) for aircraft is almost $5/ gallon now. its more expensive because of the FAA regulations that are in place for aviation fuel. 100ll (reg av. gas) is $4 gallon.
actually 099, diesels is the remaining leftover byproduct waste from the production of gasoline...so there is no good reason for it to cost so much.....the majority of the refining cost is taken care of when the gas is produced.......Marc
