diesel here is cheaper than reg. grade. alot of it comes down to when the diesel was bought, its cheaper to make diesel,less refineing, but since it is not as popular as gasoline, they charge more for it. i dont know what % of diesel fuel is made compared with reg gas, but it is far less. diesel prices fluctuate more than gas for that reason.
jet a (diesel) for aircraft is almost $5/ gallon now. its more expensive because of the FAA regulations that are in place for aviation fuel. 100ll (reg av. gas) is $4 gallon.
