well considering your truck is hard shifting into third that a good indication the something is wrong. the 4r100 doesnt even hold up to stock torque very well so adding extra power and torque will only speed up tranny destruction. regardless of opinions on the edge tuners, just about any form of tuning will tear up a 4r100. i bet at least 70% of the guys on this forum with a 7.3 have have either rebuilt their trannys at least once or put hi-pros in. its inevitable so just run it till it implodes and then get a new one.
