Authorities are tired of the illegal drag racing. The community is tired of it as well. Two things will happen the board members will be voted out. A new board voted in and the drag strip will then be built.

It is sad that it will have to come that. Another thing is sad that people can't see what good things can come from a successful motorsport complex. They can build a motocross track there, they can have a circle track as well. Money can be generated from taxes, outsiders coming into the town, eating and shopping, other bussiness would come like hotels, and stores and resturaunts.

The problem is having conservatives on the board. They don't like change especially in their small town.

Although bad things can come too, like more people illegally racing on the streets. If you think that won't happen come to my house on a sunday after the drag strip that is 10 minutes away closes. I get it all the time right in front of my house. But I found a solution, just have the county sherriff come hang out at my house after the dragstrip closes.

One day he impounded 6 tricked out bikes and 6 riders went home walking.
