i've been givin this some thought and EUREKA
i got it ... do like the other guy said .... use a steel hole saw 3 " approx big enuf to fit your hand in and fix the @!#$%^& thing... and then get another piece of metal circle 4 " round to cover the hole, and a metal bar with a bolt welded to the center ( that goes inside the pan like a drywall srew thingy ) and a gasket with rtv silicone and load it up good and srew the bolt tight and compress fitting ...
there you go !!! that's what i'm gonna do!!!
