Brakes are not something that can be driven for a while after they start grinding. It is VERY doubt full that the pad fell out. My theory is that the pad is down to the metal. Metal left from pad over heated while trying to stop with no friction material left and boiled the brake fluid in that caliper. Now there is nasty air/ fluid in that caliper. If that is the case your little pad replacement job just turned into pads, calipers and rotors. Price will shoot up dramaticly. JJ
