I went and measured for you. The letters on the tail gate are 2 1/4" and the ones on the hood are 2". I don't they wouldn't would hold well because they wouldn't recess in like they do on the tail gate, but guess you could make it work with a little extra 3m tape if you really wanted.

As far as the exhaust I have flopro cat/dpf delete, and a magna flow back from there, attached a couple of pics for you... and yes it is a diesel
