I am new to diesels. I just got a 05 king ranch dually with 126,000 on it. It has an edge w/attitude tuner and a K&N filter. Other than that its bone stock. Recently it has been starting hard in the morning but after a minute or two it runs fine. Here is a list of mods / fixes I am planning to do in the near future please let me know if I'm missing any. I'm a good wrench I have restored a few chevelles and built many small block and big block chevys. So as I list these out just answer per the number.

1. How do I pull Codes?

Fixes planned
1. egr delete
2. arp studs
3. new tube for the oil return on the turbo.
4. new exhaust. (please comment on this when my buddies dad put an exhaust on his new ford a couple years ago the dealer told him to take it off it would ruin his tranny whats up with that!!! Can an aftermarket exhaust hurt your truck in any way?)
