Going from 20's to 17's
Ok, guys. I am looking at having to buy tires soon. I want to hear your opinions on going from stock 20's on an 06 to 17's. Their is a lot wider range of tire sizes by the tire manufacturers, not to mention cheaper. Just want to hear from those of you who may have done this or have 17's on your truck. Is their any reason not to drop down to a 17? From what I am seeing, a 33 or 34 inch tire on a 17 is about $60 bucks cheaper than the same tire in a 20.
Also, anyone know what the backspacing is on the stock 20's on an 06? Have searched and could not find a thread with a definite answer, but I may have overlooked it.
