i did mine when i dyno'd and i let the converter lock (50mph) then i let out a little so it droped to about 40 mph. told the opperator to load it down and then just rolled into it, around 60 mph or so i was floored, put down 530 1076 with 275v3, very consistant all 3 runs, stock tuning may want to down shift more so like 08stroker said, stay around 2000 rpms or so and it shouldnt down shift.
