2002 7.3 F250 just died on me
Was driving with no problems being reported ( check engine light, low fuel light) nothing. I had about an 1/8 of a tank of fuel and was on my way to get more, when it just stopped accelerating and then seconds later the engine just shot off. As I thought I was a low fuel thing even though the low fuel light was not on, I got some and put it in and was unable to get it re-started. A mechanic that I know who is not a diesel guy hooked it up to his dio and said that it was throwing an PCM code. My question is will the PCM cause the truck to just stop mid run. It still felt like a fuel flow problem. Any thoughts guys
