We drove his truck around a bit, and since he got on it a bit i told him to wait til the temps got around 350 or 300 before shutting it down. We let it idle for about 10 or 15 minutes and it still showed like 400-425.
He had i think $250 in his 3 gauge set. These did not include connectors, or even wires that were long enough, and not enough boost line. Just about every wire needed to be extended. Plus they are just inferior gauges overall. And they look like ricer gauges.
I had about $350 in my Isspro kit. This included EVERYTHING needed for the install. It came with all the connectors needed, enough wire, boost line, everything. Plus they look better and more professional and are more accurate.
So you can spend a little less money and have a pain in the azz install with a chitty gauge, or spend another $100 and get a premium gauge that comes with everything needed for a fast and easy install. It took about 3 hours total to install my gauges, including lots of dickin around, and about 3 hours to install the glowchits not including the dickin around. You can form your own opinion with those facts.
