Just bought a PS last night.
2000 350 Van with 260,000 miles. The previous owner took great care with the van as the interior and exterior look great. I bought it primarily to tow my Porsches to the track. Yeah its not a truck but the price was right and with 4 kids I needed the extra seat room.
I have a 2005 VW diesel that I use the Standayne additive in, does anyone suggest a different fuel additive or will it be good for both.
How difficult is it to do a compression/leakdown check on these? The vehicle was never used to tow with and nearly all the miles were highway, anything to look out for? Tranny??
Thanks in advance for any/all help. I've only had Dodge Diesels up to this point and they were when I worked for Chrysler so I never gave a rats butt about them. This is my first Ford so hopefully it will serve me well.
Forgot to ask are Van owners allowed to be on here or do I just need to hide and lurk?
