it is a fuel filtration sistem that removes water debree and air. the air makes our engines pre detonate and lose mpg ,also helps alot with the cackle ,easier starts .it comes with a 2 micron filter and water separator so we dont have to replase the one in the engine bay many vendors have it ,i got mine from diesel manor great service ,also i pick up about 1mpg a little more alittle less
