its hard to say...my dad has a heating oil business, so i know a little about it....unlike diesel which is consumed un predicatbly at the fuel pump, heating oil companies can make predictions based on previous years usage, etc. If a company does it well enough, they can buy fuel in bulk, like by the barge, and have a flat rate instead of load to load fluctuations...as for regular diesel, its taxed and cunsumed much like gasoline, so it follows a similar curve....with the exception that it's tended to be higher more recently...before gas was so much, say, when gasoline was 1.30 gal, diesel was .89 gal....demand has gone up recently...sorry to say it, but its thanks to us....on that happy note, drive with care and buy sinclair.
