7.3 givin me troubles
Guys, I know I dont post much, just when I have Issues.
Soo here is todays.
driving down my road. truck was doing good, then all of a sudden . the rpms dropped, the truck hessitated ALOT, the engine light came on, and then it would bearly make it up a little hill.
I pulled over, checked the oil. The oil is a little low (at the bottom line). Felt for metal chips, etc. Had a little sparkly look to it (maybe small chips), and some bubbles to the black oil.
What might be the trouble.
Sounded like a pinto not a 7.3.
I had tranny trouble a couple months ago,and went to tranny shop. Got a 1-2 tranny code, had a kink in both tranny cooler hard lines. I got that fixed (many hours of hair pulling), and got a complete flush, with additive. two days later it started slipping. May need that now. So, what do you guys think.
Im leaving to go out of town next week, so might have to hold off on the truck, but need advice.
