blowin lots of white smoke
heres the story. i had to make a run out of town for work. about a 700 mile round trip run. just into my trip my service engine light came on. i pulled into a truck stop to check things out. i noticed my coolant resevoir was low so i toped it off. later on the light went off. i came home yesterday with no problems, no lights on the dash, the truck performed fine. this morning i went out side and started my truck to let her warm up a bit. after about 10 min i went out to leave for work and noticed was truck was puffing white smoke. i took it down the street and it started blowing large amounts of white smoke, mosquito truck style. i know white smoke means i'm buring coolant. my question is typically where is the problem? head gasket, something in the turbo? the truck's motor is stock as far as i know and has abot 78K on it. it is in route on a flat bed to the dealer now.
