Until the Government has the gonads to tell OPEC off. Make the oil companies stop having record profits every quarter. We will be paying the high dollar for fuel.
Do we have the resources to break away from foriegn oil and put America back to work. Sure we do, but will the government allow that drilling to happen nope not at all.
The government is throwing away money faster then I can make it. They are not going to help out GM. GM is going down the toilet. No bail out for them. Chrysler had a chance but the court rejected the offer that Fiat take over the successful parts of Chrysler. So Chrysler may be going in the toilet too.
Everyday people are being laid off, or being completely terminated. If you live in Michigan did you hear the meeting that Dingle had with the UAW. John Dingle who in my mind would have been a good canidate for President. Told the UAW what needs to be done to keep the American Auto Industry Alive. But is anyone in DC listening to him. Nope at all.
I have said it several times. We are in Depression. But the stupid Economists refuse to accept that.
What needs to be done. America needs to get back to work.
Well if jobs are not being created and companies are not investing into our local communities. Well then the Government needs to act like Roosevelt did. Start goverment funded projects. Build damns for hydro-electric power, rebuild the roads, rebuild the pipelines for water and sewer.
Once the government starts investing into the country. Then we can get back to stability.
Forget about those third world countries that don't know what it is like to have electricty or running water. Forget about world peace because it will not happen. Look at world history. Empires came and left, they were over thrown by another.
Until we get a President with similar Ideas as Roosevelt, basically saying forget the others lets take care of ourselves. We will be hurting, not as individuals but as a whole.
But guess who will not be asking for Government hand outs. If you don't know look at the countryboys.
