Is it possible, say if you were doing 55 in 9th & dropped down to 25mph, can you drop your splitter, shift into neutral, & throw it into 5th?

it depends on the gear ratios in the trans/rear end, in my autocars i can go from 9th to 5th if i lug the motor to about 500 RPM in 9th and then rev it to about 2800 RPM and i can go into 5th. on my freightliner i can only downshift 3 gear as the ratios a farther apart (OTR truck) compared to my autocars where i can drop 4 gears because the ratios are closer (onsite truck)
