First of all, I was going to suggest that you at least change the oil before you go through the trouble of returning it to stock and taking it to Ford.

Then I saw that you had done that.

Then I was horrified to see that you used RTV sealant on your very expensive rear-end. Understand that RTV sealant is bad news for rear-ends. All those little pieces that get submerged in oil before they set break off and get lodged in the oil passages that oil the pinion bearing. You can imagine how well that works for the pinion bearing.

I wrecked the hell out of several of my ambulance rear ends this way before the mechanic that rebuilds them finally taught me what to use. There is a product called "Right Stuff" by Permatex http://www.permatex.com/brand_right_stuff.htm that is specified to use on these rear ends. I would highly recommend that you fix this quick before you do damage. If ford finds orange RTV in your pinion bearing, they will not honor the warranty on the rear end.

And finally, Did you put any friction modifier in when you refilled the rear end? That is probably why you are hearing the whining noise around corners. That is your LS clutches being unhappy with you.
