It's actually very easy. You just place a diode from the low beam cicuit to the high beam circuit right at the multifunction switch. No need for relays and extra wiring. Let me know if you need details on your trucks wiring, but all you have to do is find which wire is hot for the low beams and which wire is hot for the high beams and put a diode from one to the other. This will allow current to flow to the low beams when you put on the high beam, but will not allow the current to flow from the low beams to the high beams.
