If you have never pulled the dash out then give it a few hours or so to figure it out. All the bolts you need to take out(to remove the dash)are green. You will also need to take out the steering column. It's not that bad if you did it a few times.

I used satin black and the dash will take at least two cans and at $12 a piece it can add up. I dyed the dash in my ranger with the same stuff about four years ago and it is holding up perfectly.
