As far as i know, it will not throw a code, but on the same note, DFuser I believe does sell a connector to prevent it. The red pressure Line to the actuator when removed, just prevents the early release of boost. It starts t bleed of boost at around 5 psi from the factory, all you are doing is delaying this process until there is enough pressure to start depressing the spring in the actuator. It will not increase the overall boost, just let it spool up faster. I have the actuator rod turned in 3 turns as well to delay the release of boost, and this as well as the red line removal increased my boost up to about 24 psi on stock settings with my chip. On the higher settings I can nail 30 psi with this set up. That is why I suggest a gauge. Unless the map is fooled as to what pressure is going through it, it will start to defuel at around 23-24 psi. hope that helps you out

Gord.
