Use a heat gun and get them warmed up, start at one end and slowly work it up enough to get some nylon fishing line under it. Keep it hot and work it back till it's off. If your lucky you might not need the fishing line for most of it. Get yourself some glue remover and clean up the residue and polish it up nice and your done.
