Actually, a plastic intake manifold is a great idea... about a tenth of the weight, holds pressure fine... dissipates heat better than aluminum. Subaru has been doing it for years and I'm suprised more manufacturers haven't done it.
Now Nitrous+plastic intake may result in not so positive results.... especially when you have a cheap *** dry kit that seeps gas into your your intake at idle resulting in a mild explosion under the hood.
