The SCT will tune the trans along with the engine. So you get better engine tuning (more power) and trans tuning (something most other tuners ignore). If you want the BEST for your 6.0, get a custom tuned SCT. Most here will recommend Innovatives tunes, although I've been hearing so good things about Cale's (from BTS) tuning.

This will be the 7.3 so it looks like I'll be ok. We are actually moving TO Anchorage, we'll be there around the middle of June. We were there at the beginning of January and checked things out, even drove through Eagle River looking at houses
and even went into the new Wal-Mart.
Okay, dumb question I know, but, what exactly does "SCT" stand for?
I'm really new to the whole PSD world and I'm still learning (making the transition from a pumped up BMW Z3).
